As I write about my America I am reminded of the Greek song
.. touto to homa einai diko tous kai diko mas.
This land belongs to them but also to us.
I read about others in my shoes and I see the same thing, we are in between two lands.
Two homes two countries.
When years ago they asked my mother in Greece which of her two children she likes best she replied : " if you cut off one finger or the other both will hurt the same".
or Pio daktylo na kopseis kai den tha ponesei.
I hope I will never have to choose one or the other.
Also wanted to remind to all of you some Historical facts. The Greeks abroad were the ones who inspired the 1821 Revolution to overthrow the Ottoman yoke.

So to summarize I am a ellinas4ever who lives in myAmerica..
And of course the realtysisters make life more interesting.

In America we respect others but at the same time we are in a "melting pot" so a common language( English) is the most important factor.
I am referring to the "Immigration" issue in the news lately here in the U.S.
On the other hand the "Us versus Them" issue is another front runner in the News. Our civilization is threten by their civilization.
Or that's what they say.
