After 200 years plus of American History a person who does not have an aglo-saxon name, who is NOT white with an irish name but rather with a strange sounding name is knocking at the WHITE HOUSE door.
The first African American(Black) to have a good chance to get into the White House.
Is this the first time ?----------------------- NO

Is this the last time ?------------------------ NO

New Things

Have news to report . I now have a new role within NATIONWIDE with more responsibilities,travel and of course a little more pay.
I do love my new role. Things are coming my way . Thank you Lord.

What is my vision for a " good life " ?
We gain for the purpose of giving.

My apolitical America

My America . My apolitical America.
My America is my neighborhood, my town , my county . my state and YES it has everything to do with my America.
In my America we respect everyone Else's rights and responsibilities.
I look for the good in people and I give them the benefit of the doubt.
I do love the motto : 'GOD BLESS AMERICA."

As the same time I have a little advise. Have you see the TEXAS motto that says don't mess with Texas? The same applies for the whole country. Don't mess with "myAmerica".

Our World

This Land

As I write about my America I am reminded of the Greek song
.. touto to homa einai diko tous kai diko mas.
This land belongs to them but also to us.
I read about others in my shoes and I see the same thing, we are in between two lands.
Two homes two countries.
When years ago they asked my mother in Greece which of her two children she likes best she replied : " if you cut off one finger or the other both will hurt the same".
or Pio daktylo na kopseis kai den tha ponesei.
I hope I will never have to choose one or the other.
Also wanted to remind to all of you some Historical facts. The Greeks abroad were the ones who inspired the 1821 Revolution to overthrow the Ottoman yoke.
